Chaos Castle — Survival Arena Guide

Chaos Castle is the most chaotic of all regular events — a floating arena where players AND monsters are your enemies, the edge means death, and no entrance items are required. This guide covers everything you need to know to survive and dominate Chaos Castle.

Event Schedule

Chaos Castle runs 6 times per day:

  • 1:00 AM, 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 9:00 PM, 11:00 PM

Each session lasts 10 minutes.

Entry Requirements

No entrance items needed. Simply find the Chaos Castle gate NPC and enter during the open period. The system automatically places you in the correct tier based on your level.

Core Rules

  1. PvP is enabled — You can kill other players and be killed by them.
  2. The edge is instant death — Falling off the floating platform eliminates you.
  3. Dark Lord Spirits ARE allowed on MajesticMU (AllowDarkLordSpirit="1").
  4. Scoring — The last survivor wins. If multiple players survive until time runs out, the highest scorer among them wins.
  5. Monsters and players spawn together — Monsters attack all players; players can attack each other and monsters.

Positioning Strategy

The floating platform has edges on all sides. The center is safest — you cannot be knocked off from there with a single hit. The edges are death zones, especially once crowd control and knockback skills start flying.

Danger zones:

  • Narrow bridge edges — one knockback = elimination
  • Corner sections — can be cornered by both enemies and the map geometry

Safe zones:

  • Central platform area — more escape routes, less ledge exposure

Class Strategies

Dark Lord: Spirit summons provide a HP buffer and additional targets for enemies. Use Horse Charge for pushback — knock enemies off the edge rather than killing them directly.

Blade Knight: High HP and burst damage. Stay central and use Combo for fast eliminations.

Rage Fighter: Strong AoE pushback via Dragon Slasher — excellent for knocking enemies off the edge.

Soul Master: Electrical Spark and AoE magic hit multiple targets simultaneously. Stay mid-range to avoid melee.

Muse Elf: Penetration Arrow hits through multiple enemies. Maintain distance from melee fighters; edges are your friend when used offensively.

Monster vs Player Priority

Early game (first 3 minutes): Focus on monsters. Clearing monsters reduces the chaos and lets you identify the remaining player competition.

Mid game (minutes 3–7): Begin targeting the weakest players while continuing to clear remaining monsters.

Late game (minutes 7–10): Pure PvP — focus on survival and eliminating the remaining competitors. Use knockback skills to push players off the edge rather than relying on direct kills.

Rewards

  • EXP bonus for survival duration
  • Jewels from monster kills
  • Chaos Castle boxes for top finishers
  • Zen from kills
